Executive Committee 

The Executive Committee oversees and supports the work of the Major Committees and the Standing Committees. It is composed of the Council Chair, Vice Chair, Treasurer, Secretary and the Chairs of each of the Major and Standing Committees.  To learn more, click here.

Standing Committees

Each caucus member serves not only on a major committee, but also on either the Finance, Rules, Communications, or New Trier Township High School Caucus Nominators committee.  View current members and their respective committees click here.

Major Committees 
     

The Major Committees draft and tabulate survey questions on issues specific to their committee's area of focus. From survey results they prepare platform statements that reflect a consensus of the residents and serve to guide the work of the boards. They also identify, interview, and propose qualified candidates to sit on the Village Council as well as the School, Park and Library Boards.
